The Environmental Quality Authority (EQA), the Palestinian Society for Environment and Sustainable Development, and the Palestinian Green Police launched a training program to build the capacity of the Environmental Police and EQA inspectors in the field of nature protection. This unique program was supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation through the Mahmiyat project.
Unsurprisingly, German - Israeli relations are multi-layered. The Hanns Seidel Foundation in Jerusalem has been partnering for several years now with the Ruth Youth Wing for Art Education at the Israel Museum. The program “Bridging the Gap” is a wonderful opportunity for children from both East and West Jerusalem to get together, experience art, express themselves, and meet each other.
